We regard our health and safety obligations as a core business principle, it is therefore, the policy of JD Electrical and Mechanical Services to develop a health, safety and environmental awareness culture throughout the company. 
We are committed to taking all reasonable precautions for the prevention of injuries and ill health to our employees, sub-contractors and others who may be affected by our work activities. Our staff strive to create a safe working environment that also prevents any damage or loss of property to any plant or equipment. We proactively work with clients, designers, contractors and our supply chain as well as feedback from our work force to ensure that there are zero incidents. 

Our Health and Safety Manager monitors and reviews the company’s policies and procedures and regularly audits our sites to ensure we remain compliant with the highest standard expected that comply with the latest legislation. All our staff are trained to the required industry standards and are fully converse with the companies Health, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures. 

We hold a number of Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) certificates including Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS), SAFE Contractor and Trade Accreditations with the NICEIC, ECA and Constructionline.
